As a practicing lawyer, mother, and business owner of The Davis Injury Firm, founder Betty Nguyen Davis knows how the everyday pressures of life in the law can lead to stress, anxiety, and burnout. As Betty entered into her 40s and had been practicing law for almost twenty years, she became increasingly mindful about how she managed (or failed to manage) stress and coped in unhealthy ways; in many instances, she was not even aware that stress or anxiety was affecting her. Betty began a mediation “lite” practice, training herself to recognize physical and emotional signs of stress and anxiety.

In her search for her own sanity, Betty began to surround herself with other people who were facing similar life changes. During her journey, she discovered useful tools and information that Betty wanted to share with her colleagues and friends, and Wellness Jurist was born.

Wellness Jurist's mission is to raise awareness about lawyer mental health and wellbeing and give lawyers and law firms the tools and resources to successfully manage and reduce stress and burnout, all for the betterment of our profession.
